Popular actor Sreenivasan’s sons Vineeth and Dhyan are sharing screen space for the first time in this film. The film marks the directorial debut of Basil Joseph and it also has Srinda Ashab and Sneha Unnikrishnan, Neeraj Madhav, Mamukoya, Seema G Nair, Hareesh, Deepak Parambol, Bijukuttan and Arya in significant roles. The film has been produced by Suvin K Varkey under the banner of LittleBig Films and distributed by E4 Entertainment. Justin Prabhakar composes music for the lyrics penned by Manu Manjith. Vishnu Sarma is the cinematographer.

‘Kunjiramayanam’ set in a rustic village named Desham revolves around a group of youngsters.  Kunjiraman (Vineeth Sreenivasan), Kuttan (Aju Varghese), Lalu (Dhyan Sreenivasan, Kunjuttan (Neeraj Madhav), Bheekaran (Bijukkuttan), Sasi (Deepak), and Ratheesh (Hareesh) are the main characters in the film. Kunjiraman, Kunjuttan and Sasi are one gang and all others are in their opposite gang. Kunjiraman and Lalu are cousins. Kuttan runs a tailoring shop. Kunjiraman and Lalu’s verbal fight gradually turns into a family feud and the rest of the story forms the plot of ‘Kunjiramayanam’. The traditional rituals and customs followed by the villagers also form a main part of the movie.
